Blizzard! How are my fellow New Englanders prepping for the impending storm?

Hi Everyone,

I live in Portland, ME, and as some of you know, the I-95 corridor is supposed to be experiencing “blizzard-like conditions” starting tomorrow morning. How is everyone prepping their aquariums? Are you expecting power outages? Do you have a generator? Are you prepared for the worst?

My winter plan has been the same fir 10yrs

A 3000watt inverter that hooks to my cars battery.... I run 100ft extension cords to vital things in my house: refrigerator, tank heater, tank pump, single room space heater... of course not running all these things at once but in rotation

Car holds a lot of gas and can run on idle to feed the inverter for days

I was watching The Weather Channel at 10pm and a Field Reporter was actually on his hands and knees in NYC live on TV showing me what the snow looked like in his glove.

It was amazingly informative that should win an Emmy Award

Who knew snow was white, cold and clumps together.... who knew?
