Blue Algae taking over!!

Could anyone please help me identify this algae and possible ways to control?

You will find that it’s green, most likely bryopsis for the looks of it.

treatment will be sea lettuce nudibranch or chemical way as a algaecide seems to be the only way.

Does it look like this? Don’t remember the name. Tangs will eat it though.

I think it’s bryopsis given structure, it’s the blue colour that put me off

No it’s a different structure to that and none of my tangs or rabbit fish have touched it

It’s actually kinda cool looking! Do have an Urchin? Might eat it it.

Look more like little feathers than little branches

I do have an collector urchin, all he seems to eat is my coralline algae which I think is allowing it to take over

That looks for sure to be bryopsis, it grows in fern like feathers. If you took a picture of just white light only, no blues, its probably straight green. No critter will eat bryopsis.
