Blue devil damsel ate all snail babies on glass

Woke up today and saw about 43 snail babies on the glass, about a couple hours later I see my blue devil damsel just going to town eating all of the snails babies. I figured it be pretty cool to see the babies get big and maybe give some snails away for free and keep some as well but nope lol
