Hi everyone, fairly new to salt water tanks. My Blueface angel appears to be having a long thread coming out of his backside. I’m thinking that it’s just a long strand of poop, trying to get a good picture, but wondering if anybody knows if that happens from time to time. TIA

I would say clear/white/brown. I just fed some pellets as he typically mysis and brine. We got a naso tang last week, he likes Nori. I would say two or three days ago the Blueface decided he likes Nori now too.

Thinking the pellets might help push it thru. TIA

btw - it's good that your blueface is eating nori. My emperor angel (aka el Heffe or the Boss) developed HLLE a few years ago. I read that this is often caused by poor diet. Angels are mostly herbivores in nature so i loaded him up on Nori and he made a full recovery. A few months ago i traveled for 3 weeks and my fish caretaker didn't give him nori - HLLE developed again in a 2nd location on his head. 2 weeks of lots of nori and this too healed.
