Hello, I have a 6’ long, 200+ tank with tons of caves, nooks and hiding spots, etc.

I currently have 3 springeri damsels and wanted to know if anyone has had them in the same tank as blue green chromis.

There are plenty of other fish, well at least 6 others lol, but I’m concerned there might be aggression issues later on.

LFS has new shipment of chromis, giving them a couple of weeks for monitoring before purchase

thank you

Do your damsels have well defined territories or roam the whole tank? Any aggression?

I wouldn’t hesitate.

They have areas they tend to hang out in, haven’t seen any aggression since day 2

I have 5 chromis with a blue devil damselfish and he will chase them around but I heard this external aggression will actually prevent the chromis from turning inward and killing each other. The periodic attacks from the damsel keep the chromis together, acting like a school. Don't know if its true but I haven't lost a chromis since I got them in January.
