Is it ok to have the skimmer in the same chamber as bio balls? I’m worrying it will be skimming beneficial bacteria.

The theoretical skimming of beneficial things.

The bioballs shouldnt matter however if you like them, that bacteria stays on the surface of those and isn't in the water. Supposedly
