Don't mix well. These fish are Tridacna Clam nippers and will harass a clam keeping it closed. I would advise anyone wanting this fish if they keep clams. Don't do it. You'll regret it.

Just wanted to have this thread out there for anyone else out there searching this.

Positive it isn't a false cleaner?

I mean clams are tasty and cleaner wrasses seem to always be hungry! I guess it would not surprise me.

Thanks scorpios.
I just bought this fish last week after reading lots threads and i think i even started one or talked in one.anyway either way i was concerned it would starve if couldnt eat parasites from a heavily stocked tank and eat mucus or whatever but after multiple peooke here said theres eats frozen etc it convinced me to get one and loving it so far going around trying clean fish, some dont mind but sone did at first but seem ok now.but im on 7th fish out of total 10 for my tank i think and last 3 going be bigger fish so hopefully this better for the cleaner wrasse but thanks again for your input ^_^
