Hi all,
About a week ago I placed my fish back from QT into my display. The fish had ich as well as bacterial infections. What I did was I hypoed the display tank with the fish for 2 months at 1.008 with an auto top off and calibrated the refractometer every 3 days with rodi water. I then took them out of the display and transferred them to another tank after 2 months to treat for any remains of flukes and bacterial infections. I then raised the salinity of the display tank to 35ppt and let evaporation bring the salinity of the tank the fish were in to 35ppt. Jump forward to today, I noticed a single white spot on my blue tangs nose bridge between its eyes but its raised such it looks like a triangle coming out of his face. My other fish are spotless and these included a purple and powder blue tang. I’m starting to think maybe it’s the beginning of lympho? Any help will be appreciated I can’t take a photo as it doesn’t show up in pictures.
