Here is my 8 month old hippo tang, it has some sort of infection and I’m not sure what it is. It doesn’t look exactly like ich and I’ve done two treatments of prazi for flukes, which I previously had. Any help?

More pics for reference, hasn’t been any significant change in behavior, still eats like normal.

Pics are white light with orange filter, tank is almost 2 years old.
It is difficult for me to see because the spots on the glass sometimes look like they are on the fish. Can you give any more information? Other fish, When did it start, is it stable, getting worse. Any new additions? What exactly are you concerned about? The dark spots? I'm thinking possibly Turbellaria flatworms?

Other fish are fine, this is the only fish literally. I’ve got 12 other fish and nothing else is showing symptoms.

It’s been going on for about 2 weeks now, I’ve done two 5 day treatments of prazi already.

1. Usually the recommended dose is 2.5 mg/l - are you sure you dosed correctly.
2. The dose interval is usually 7 days apart.
3. Certain parasites of these type can leave 'black scars' though the parasite is killed. Hope this helps

Positive I dosed it correctly, exactly like the instructions say, including actual water volume. I’m thinking that’s what the black spots are, but there are larger white spots you can see towards the tail.

Tried to upload it to YouTube did it work that time?
So - the correct dose of Prazipro would have been 7 days apart - it's possible that it needs another one (especially if changing/getting worse). Having said that, some people use only a single dose of prazipro.

Second - Thanks for the video - it worked - I cannot see the white spots on the tail per se. But let's assume they are there - are they worsening or changing. One possibility would be lymphocystis (which would tend to be larger and not changing frequently), another would be Ich (cryptocaryon) - which would be changing. If none of the other fish are affected with 'white spots' to me it would suggest it would make CI less likely. By the way - you said 'your 8 month old tang' - does that mean you've had it for 8 months - or that it's actually 8 months old.

It was about the size of a half dollar when I got it, so it’s probably closer to a year old, but I’ve had it for 8 months

I had neobendenia flukes a couple months ago, and this is definitely not it, the spots on the tail are the newest spots. It started around the head and has worked it’s way towards the tail. It’s for sure not lympho I’m very familiar with that.

I was talking about the white spots you said you see on the tail. Sorry - one of the first questions I asked was are you talking about the black spots or something else. Then you mentioned white spots on the tail.

I guess I was not clear as well, I apologize, there are some white spots as wel as black spots. I would assume as you have mentioned the black spots are possibly where parasites have let go? I just want to know what it is since the white spots weren’t so much affected by prazipro. Idk if it’s crypto or not, the spots look a little big to be crypto but I’m no expert.
