Time to document the build of my new reef.

Little prep work.

Sump and ato made by Advanced Acrylics.

Happy with how the sump plumbing turned out. Emergency was only temporarily plumbed until I could pick up more fittings to run it the way I want it.

id connect the leggs at the bottom from side to side.
If its a 100g your looking at 1000 pounds of glass rock and water setting there

Plumbing came out great for my first tank with a sump. Can’t complain.

Emergency is only piped temporarily until I get more fittings to do what I want.

I saw that after i posted, but in the corners on the front there appears to be a hole where the new board meets the legs?
Yes I have the board elevated off the ground on both sides. It’s only to prevent the legs from bowing in or out. I didn’t want moisture to trap there over time. Only the main support legs are treated for moisture.

I was seeing the space between the front bare board and the white one running next to the ato reservoir.

Ohh got it! That white 2x4 is just setting on the ground. To the left I added a2x4 where my plumbing attaches to. I may use that spare board for electrical so I left it laying there. Otherwise it won’t be there.

How do you like working with a 30" wide tank that's up against the wall? Do you find it difficult at all? Looking at making a custom tank 60"x30"x18".
