Good evening everyone

I bought a coral from someone on fb marketplace and even after dipping I got my first pest ever. It’s a bunch of little mini bugs that crawl on the glass. Small , i found some on my hammer. Can you please advise what these are. I saw a video of flat worm but these are much smaller and a lot of them like mini mini roaches crawling on glass. Tried to take picture but to small for camera to catch but I’ve scrape some out with a paper towel and they are crawling so help!

Not going to get much help without pictures. Could just be like munnid isopods or something. Not every bug you get hitchhiking is bad.
Absolutely. These days, there seems to be a push for sterile tanks. These don't exist. And it's an excerise in futility to try IMO. I'm not saying that you throw caution to the wind, but be more accepting that you're creating an ecosystem where some bad hitchhikers are going to make their way in with the good.

Ty for getting back to me , do these pods as you call them crawl on corals
You can look online to see what they look like. I most commonly see them on the glass, because they're partially transparent so they're hard to see in the tank, but if you look real close, they're there crawling over everything.

Could be some pods (very good hitchhikers). Pictures under white lights is the only way you will be able to get anyone to give you a proper identification.

You for sure need to add pics.

That said, PharmrJohn's advice is sage. If you really look at it from the top down - We're trying to maintain an ocean in our home. Our reefs are TINY. Even the lucky folks that have 10k+ gallon systems, TINY... just not as tiny as most of us!

Nature is a beast, and it does not listen to humans.

I chase some numbers right now, I'm still new... but I am trying to get to the point that I let the tank tell me whats up, and worry less and enjoy more. I know me for sure, if all I do is chase, I will end it sooner than I want, especially for what I've put in to it. I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track, and there's a ton of success stories out there where people get to "the tank telling them", vs a ton of work chasing numbers

They are more brown I think then white /transparent

More white light (this is too blue) and you are going to need to zoom in as much as possible and as in focus as possible.

That coral wasn't "dirty", it was previously in a diverse ecosystem and now you have some of that diversity in your tank :)
