I'm sorry that's what I meant. Topless. What's the light you useI’ve seen mods where people take the hood off, but the top strip of plastic is important to the tank integrity. I like the hood, keeps the dog hairs out lol

It’s also great to not have to ever worry about finding a fish on the floor!Lemme see what I can dig up. I would probably opt to keep the hood because of the chemicals though.

A screen would stop that. I like the hood to help with chemical exposure. It’s also great to not have to ever worry about finding a fish on the floor!
If it doesn’t fit, he will make it fit!! Is it the wireless one?I have the LED panel from Andrew's Biocube. You can buy a replacement splash guard too.
LinkThe original! It’s a 150w metal halide (double ended bulb) in the hood. Grows my corals like weeds. I kept the 4x3watt leds in the corners as well, they don’t really do much but i figured it couldn’t hurt to add alittle to the blue spectrum.
I'm not sure it was an ledCan you tell me the size where the LEDs were?
Ok. You could send JBJ a pic to verify what model.I'm not sure it was an led
I wouldn’t want to buy this new, it’s so old it’s expensive now. I was really lucky to get everything used, I paid $125 for the complete setup. This link is just for the ballast!Link
