That's a redneck hillbilly return spraybar I made out of PVC. No more dead spots in the tank.

Here's a pic of the piece-o-driftwood. That's my size 14 slipper for size reference.

Good looking centerpiece! Is there a canister filter hidden away somewhere? How does the filtration work? The world needs answers!

(pretty please!)

I have an FX6 and @sfin52 is right as the spray bar mod would work on a FX4, FX5 or FX6.

And this is what happens to a dull masonry bit when I am bound and determined to drill through 6 - 5/8ths thick porcelain tiles.
(Mostly because I didn't want to search my masonry drill bit pouch for a diamond bit.)

Throwing things back together now and will post a completed pic when finished.

But did you drill through it lol

we have a 110g rated HOB filter on our 65g fw, and I added a little wavemaker that I got for my sw and didn’t use. Still have to vacuum the gravel, the pleco takes giant poops!

As you can see, the background has mostly held up well ;)

Looks good especially with that custom background! Seriously, though, it's nice.

I have a 48", 6 lamp, T5 that I was going to build a custom hood for and then build my own CO2 system and go high-tech. However, due to some unknowns about what we're doing with moving, I've held off with those plans.

Thanks! It could use a 50g water change ;)

it’s been running for over 2 years now. Just carbon, biomedia, and a sponge. The plants grow SO MUCH, I’ve thrown away at least as much as what you see in the pics.

do you have a saltwater as well?

I had a t5 sitting basement from the as tank. Just put it on my fw. That makes a huge difference. Thanks for the idea.

How many gallons is that? Talk about heavily planted, I bet it hardly ever needs cleaning :)

Do you have some blue/actinic lights for that as well? I bet your substrate would fluoresce like crazy!
