Brand new. 90 gallon with 30 gal sump.

Brand new to the hobby and need lots of advice. I just purchased a 90 gallon tank with lights canopy stand and 30 gallon sump. What's the best way to cycle it? Do I need a protein skimmer? Any and all advice welcome

Welcome to R2R!You will need a skimmer on that bad boy!The best way to cycle any tank is with patience.Get everything up and running with your live sand (if you are going to use it) and your live rock.Basically from there its a waiting game and be sure to watch those parameters!
