Brand new apex ph probe and conductivity probe wont calibrate

i just opened the apex and hooked it all up and updated, went to calibrate ph probe and ph reads 7.9 , i went to do the walkthrough and im on the step place in 7.0 solution and the timer says -400 seconds and it wont go to acceptable range. do i need to do somthing or what should i do

Did you float the ph solution in your sump?
Also are you using fusion or local to calibrate? I have found that if you use local to calibrate probes it works better and is more accurate

Also you may want to wait a couple of days before calibrating the pH probe. Leave it it the tank so it can acclimate to the tank water. Then try a calibration. It has been in storage solution for a while. Make sure the glass tip is not broken off. That happens during shipment some times.

I got it on local ran an Ethernet cable found out the Wi-Fi was dumb
