Maybe they are to you ..... but not to me. Just look at the pictures that have been posted in this thread alone LOL.
I see some really good ones. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder I guess?

Here is an older completed scape of mine.

My current scape has more depth and I plan on making great use of it with scale. I’m also going to use color more to my advantage this go around.

Just for content I'll share a few of the scapes/tanks I've done in the past. had to dig deep in my photo stash.
This is the beginning of my 90 gallons of frag. The name came from the 90 gallon tank I filled with frags. lol
I built two towers with a drill and 3/4" PVC to hold them together. They connected under the sand to hold them up.
The scape continued building a rock pile from the left tower sloping down behind the right tower. And the finished scape

A couple store displays I did. The first one was an old RedSea tank that never really got off the ground. Scape was sweet, but It had too much light and got too hot. The second was an Marineland tank and results were gold. I can't find a bare rock photo of it.

With the exception of the last tank, all of these has a PVC support frame with suspended rock, exaggerated overhangs, and lots of arches and caves.
