Well that idea isn't gonna work-.- apperntly filling critter cage with more then half of water may cause cage to warp.

Okay this is different, my rock starting to turn rust orange. Assuming this is an algae bloom after my cycle. I'm guessing now would be a good time to add a CUC.

Probably diatoms - and yes, there are things that eat them.

Sounds about right from what I'm reading and how it's growing in the tank it fits. Which tell me I'm at least in the right direction in steps. I guess we're start looking in to a CUC

very new tank, are you checking you nutrients yet? Nitrates, and phosphates?

Yes I have been. Phosphates are at 0.25 as of yesterday. I'm due for. Water change on Monday. Ammonia and nitrite are 0 and nitrate were a 10 yesterday

Every one else seems fine tho. And the. I have the two crazy clownfish that are happy as can be swimming the full size of the tank-.- felt sorry for them at my local store being in a small 10gal
