Looking good!!!Tank is on the stand. Reef Leds mounted. I sealed up the underside of all 3 bulkheads with aquarium silicone for added security. Also put the 3 parts together to convert from smaller metric plumbing to standard 1”. I will install them tomorrow night after the silicone on the bulkheads dries. Also installed an auto sensor 5 x 12” led Kit inside the stand. Waiting for my black stick up zip ties to come so I can tie up and organize the led connection and power lead wires. Ordered my custom Top Lid Fusion Vent Frame Screen yesterday. The lid Has a 4 week bid timeframe. Was going to order a clear view lid but they are 10-12 week lead.
DUDE!!!! I would HIGHLY suggest before you get much further is to pull the carpet OUT and put tile!!! Otherwise you will have serious mold issues, because you WILL spill water!!!!!!!!Tank is on the stand. Reef Leds mounted. @Brent Behringer I like it. If you’re going to have dwarf angels you’ll want some caves.
@Brent Behringer the pond looks really cool. Are those Koi? Any idea when your sump will arrive? Was busy over Father’s Day weekend putting a new liner into my pond waterfall. The old liner was almost 10 years old and had a couple cracks that were leaking. Tried to patch about a year ago, but didn’t work well. Have had to keep my flow restricted to 1/2 output to keep the water level up. So finally broke down, bought the liner and installed it. Moving all the rock was back breaking. But got it all done and full flow is back!
@Brent Behringer are those heater holders on the back side of the middle chamber? Those are cool!!
Id probably go with installing all equipment in the closet. You should be able to get everything linked up with longer aquabus cables. The only ones that im not sure about would be the probes. But I think if you plan it out well and mount the head unit as close to the tank as possible the probe cables should reach. Id lay it out like you plan and see if it will work. I think you should be good with some proper planning as to where you are going to mount each piece of equipment. EB832 woul be fine as you can find ac adapter cables in all kinds of lengthsSo my dilemma now is do I build a custom control box cabinet which would be on the left side of the tank (between tank and stair rail)> have 9"w x 36"d x 26"h available or do I just place all my controls in the small stair well closet to the left and poke a hole through the wall at the bottom? I'm leaning to placing them in the closet. Issue is some will probably need extensions of some sort. Right side is approx 10" from tank to wall. So by the time I figure 14" plus height to mount them up the wall in the closet, were probably talking 30" to 40" just to the right corner of the stand. Thoughts? Any insight as to extensions if needed? Probably should lay it all out on the floor to see? My 10 gallon ATO reservoir is going into the right 10" between tank and wall. I can also put my dosing containers and pump behind the ATO when the time comes.
I just realized your running an ekoral, not an Apex. Sorry I for some reason thought you were going NeptuneId probably go with installing all equipment in the closet.
