So as I play some more I tried to get some shots under the blue lighting my tank has at night. Still doesn't capture how impressive some of the coral radiance is.

The sps really give a nice silhouette in these pics. Shows the jagged sticks and even growth too. Nice.

My extension tubes for the camera didn't come in yesterday which was disappointing. Not as many good pictures this weekend as I was hoping for, but I'll post 2 more. I moved some rock around this weekend to see if these guys would grow better. Hopefully they will!

One final update for the weekend.....

It's early to say for sure, but I think I won the battle against the algae I've been battling. I stopped treating 2 weeks ago and can see no trace of it even in the deep crevices using a flashlight. I'd take Bryopsis over that mess any day of the week. It does look like aggressive use of Vibrant and Fluconazole did the trick. Thanks for making an amazing produce, @UWC !

I’m crossing my fingers for you! We currently have a strain of bryopsis in testing where in one of the tests it is in a 50/50 mix of freshwater and bleach and has been for two weeks and it is still green. It’s unbelievable how resistant it is!

Are you using them on a zoom lens or on a static one?
These were on my Tamron 90mm so static (Prime I think, in photo jargon)

I couldn't think of the word but yes. I know with a zoom it gets hard to focus.

I'm looking forward to the weekend when I'll have more time to play with the lights on. I'm not sure how well these extension tubes will work with my other lenses. So many new options for taking pictures!

Ugh boy... more pictures....

Yes, I know this looks like a bubblegum digi, but it's just not colored up correctly. It's a forest fire digi.

I used to know what this slow growing plating coral was called... incredible hulk something or other I think.

I'm sure you guys are tired of seeing these, but I love them.
