Hopefully the recovery is swift.
I think it will be.

I did clean out a lot of the dead stuff today.

Sorry you hit a bump in the road with the tank. Unfortunately it seems inevitable with a SPS system to eventually have a minor or a major crash. Thankful that you were able to get it under control. No loss is good, but glad it wasn't any worse.

You still have an amazing tank that you should be very proud of. I hope everything recovers and starts growing quickly. Thanks for sharing the hard times as well as the fun stuff.

Well, the tank continues to go through a slow motion crash. The cyano is out of control at this point as it feeds on dying coral. Things are stable so no new coral are dying, but the ones that started to show signs of STN are continuing.

As a positive, my 2020 therapy car has arrived. But.. in true 2020 fashion, it was raining when it was delivered so no driving with the top down yet.

All I can think of if all has been consistent all this time, would be shadowing caused some death and stress.
I had an Alk spike in October while at Disney with my son. Then some operator error on my part caused Alk to crash after I had it stabilized. I have it stable again, so it's pretty much a waiting game to see what makes it and what doesn't.

I should... maybe that will be on the agenda for Friday when I have more time.
Hang tough man. The bimmer should ease the burn, a touch.

Today I met with my orthopedic surgeon to go over my MRI and schedule a surgery date. There will be no surgery yet. My knee is much worse than the MRI tech thought. To "fix" my meniscus, which was supposed to be a little trimming, would require the removal of around 1/2 of that. If I go that route, my running is done.
I'm going to do my best to deal with the pain so I can continue running at least until I get my first marathon in. I'll probably need some cortisone shots, but it is what it is.

On the positive side? It was a little cool at 56F but the therapy car got some use with the top down this morning on the way back from the appointment.

Bummer on the knee, the navy physical therapy doc that I see basically told me I will have to just deal with it as I'm not a surgical candidate.
