Bringing home a new fish: Music in the car?

Is it just me or when I pick up a new fish or invert. Even coral that on the drive home that I turn down the music a lot more cause I don't wanna disturb the fish or whatever or make them more stressed out?

If it is winter, I put the bag in my jacket up against me and route the shoulder belt low....

LOL - that is me totally, I also drive slower, accelerate and brake slower, and take corners much slower.

My cup holder the middle can come out and I take the favorite/most expensive/ most vulnerable and put it there so when I turn corners it's not as bad

In the winter I turn up the heat to 76-78 for the drive home, LOL.

If I have a few purchases, I will put the seatbelt around the bags. As another pointed out, during cold weather I turn on the heated seat.

I treat my new additions like any other passenger and say buckle up and hold on! Lol just kidding. I have sometimes forgot and I'm sure they thought maybe they were in the Bermuda Triangle

I hang the bag on the gear stick or handbreak if not in a cooler. Fir some reason i instinctively lower the radio volume as well. And drive slower than usual.

Guilty as charged. Heated seats turned on, heat turned up to high, and music low. Less acclimation time for temp.

Yeah, drive slower and peeking into the bag when stopping at red lights....
...and get honked by car behind me when light turn green for god knows how long.....

Don't sacrifice yourself for the fish! Shoulder belt not on the shoulder can break ribs, damage internal organs and not keep you in your seat as intended.
