Just like you we can only guess without pictures. So I am wondering if I have fire worms or just common bristle worms. They are visibly red and the biggest that I have seen is 1/4" in length when stretched out. I don't really know how to tell the 2 apart. Please help me ID these and then tell me how to tell the difference. Thanks
I added pictures I think they are still loading. Here is one while they load.Just like you we can only guess without pictures.
Post pictures and I'm sure the i.d. will follow very swiftly

How do you tell between the two? What ate some of the tells for fireworm? As best I can tell from the blurry picture it does seem to be a regular bristle.
If they feed a reasonable amount they're going to have a lot of them.If you over feed you’re going to have a lot of them.
Touch it, it won't bite.
+1, looks more likely a Bristle worm to me, more you over feed the more they grow, one of the reef headacthe lolAs best I can tell from the blurry picture it does seem to be a regular bristle.
It's a NOPE worm! do not touch do not look at it too long. Burn down the tank
