Brittle or Serpent Starfish hitchiker?

found this hitchiker when dipping new corals. Trying to figure out if it's a brittle or serpent star, as i'd only want to add it to my tank if it's a brittle.

There was a time when we would marvel at any newcomer to our reefs, good or bad. Mostly because we didn't know better and also, we really appreciated all the life in our glass boxes. Then, when the lights were off, a whole new world would emerge and it was glorious. Now, everyone kinda freaks out a little (not everyone) and pushes the panic button. But now there's no need to panic, with a simple, clear pic, you can get info at the push of a button (or two).
To all those newcomers to the hobby, don't be afraid to buy some great used books from amazon or ebay, the wealth of knowledge in those books are priceless and the resources/information is a page flip away.
