Brittle starfish? Why you should dip corals…

This a brittle starfish? Was dipping a coral and this popped out. Unfortunate if it was a good pest, but still rather dip and be safe.

Yes, it is a brittle. They are a good cuc, in my opinion, to have since they are scavengers. If it’s still alive you could take another small bowl of your tank water and put it in there to see if it recovers if you wanted it.
