I recently picked up my first two clowns from my lfs following my tank cycle and all parameters being in check. The next night the one clown shows bad symptoms of brooklynella which I am now in the process of quarantining them and hopefully getting them through treatment. That being said I went back to my lfs and the clowns and other fish in their saltwater setup are showing signs of brook as well. The part that angers me is upon further investigation I revel that they knew about the infections but yet are still selling the fish do I have the right to demand a refund? this seems extremely unprofessional. Thanks for any advice I’ll be active to answer any questions. 3943497F-EA5E-40BE-8889-7A6830E15EAB.jpeg

Unless they have a 14-day live guarantee or a "pest free" guarantee, your only recourse is patronizing a different lfs or online vendor. Or a chargeback on your CC.

Good deal as you would have been faced with formalin treatments and other steps
