So my tank has been up and running for about 3 months and I have a brown alge growing on my rocks. I'm pretty sure it's just new tank uglies but I was just wondering how do I get rid of It? Or will I go away on its own in good time? I currently have 2 damsels and a flame angel in the tank along with a few hermit crabs and an assortment of snails. So do I just wait it out or do I need to do something else to It? Thanks guys..

I just reset my tank after having up for two years and I am going thru the same thing. Its part of balancing the biology of your aquarium. Of coarse the bleached white rocks everyone uses now days doesn't help.

I had the tank uglies during my first month and ended up getting a cleaning crew from ReefCleaners. I'll tell you this, since doing so, I only clean my glass maybe once a week. I have a 28g Nano cube.
