I am having a really hard time with this brown hair algae. Can you please let me know a Safeway to get this cleaned off my live rock I just purchased a 5 gallon plastic container that I was going to take the rock out to put in that and pull some of the hair off I do not have a clue how to keep this controlled or to keep it clean. It has completely taken over my aquarium as seen in the photos please help.!

toothbrush and manual hand removal, I would use a net to scoop up as much floaters as you can during the process of removal. get a bunch of Turbo snails and a Tuxedo sea urchin. it's just part of the battle with most of our tanks.

What’s a good chemical to add ?
I know it’s unpopular here, but vibrant works. I used it to get rid of my algae issues. In fact, I still dose it when I do water changes. It takes a few months to work, and you still need to remove as much as you can by hand.
