Hello there guys:)
Im pretty new with saltwater aquariums, and my tank is almost 3 months old. My sand is getting quite brown, and I guess it is diatoms. What should I do? Should I remove I move a bit the sand surface? should I buy another pump? Currently I just have one, facing upwards. Currently I just have 2 trochus snails. My tank is 30g, phosphates are normaly 0.03 and my nitrates 5. Salinity 1024. Thank you so much in advance;)

If it is diatoms they should go away as soon as they eat up all the silicates in the sand bed. Just clean the glass and you will be fine

Alright! Thank you so much. Do you think I should get another pump?

Since cyano does not like flow maybe another small power head would be a nice addition. It will not do much for the diatom issue
