Have this brown spiral “worm” growing on hammer base. I have never seen anything coming out the end of the tube. It has been there for a few weeks and doesn’t seem to be bothering the coral.
What is it ?
How and should I remove it?

Thank you both. I thought vermatid snails were more whitish in color. I will glue the tube end right away.

Is this another one?
Doesn’t have same spiral growth or tube shape.

I'm not sure from the picture what it is, but it doesnt seem to be a vermetid.
Thanks again. Hard to get an angle for a better picture. It’s nearly black in color and much flatter. I haven’t noticed it changing size since I first saw it ~2 months ago. Corals not happy but I think that was more from a GHA issue that I’ve been working to clean up.

Take tweezers and snap it off, a small dab of super glue over the shell. It is a vermentid snail. Bot of them are vermentids. Hopefully they didn't reproduce for you.
