Well 33 days after dosing Fluconasole there has been a significant difference about 80% of algae gone haven't used carbon just performed a 15% water change today and skimmer been running from about day 6 after treatment so pleased with the outcome .

Hi guys with regard to Fluconasole use what is the longest time anyone has run the treatment before water change any feedback would be mutch appreciated than you
Such a great question!
The water in my pest tank has not been changed in over 4 years. What I am finding is that a lot of testing procedures I use have a relatively short lifespan. Saltwater reacts substantially with medication chemicals that I use.
To answer this question, flucon has been in my tank since roughly 2016 with no water changes.

Bryopsis was a fun project. I actually had to have people ship me theirs cause I kept killing mine off.
I do have to point out though my response is only for Flucon. If someone uses something like fenbendazole then I HIGHLY recommend changing out the water as I suspect it to kill 100% of any Coraline algae or its spores. (this is not yet verified but suspected)
