I have a green BTA that I purchased one month ago. At first it stayed open (about3.5 inchs) last 3 weeks it looks like a stove pipi 4-4.5 in tall and about 1-2 inchs thick. I do have 2 clowns that have been nesting in it from time to time. My LFS says it is happy but I wonder. Any suggestions?

Pictures and more info would help. How old is the tank? What are the major parameters? What kind of lighting? Things like that will allow us to have an informed answer. Otherwise, we are just guessing..
