How much hurt am I in for since this this burst on its own? Usually when the are a size of a pea i can twist them out. This one was like locked in a crevice I couldn't get out. I was afraid of bursting it, now it burst on its own and was the size of a golfball. The one on the napkin was out of my sump for comparison.

Think about this. Most people get emerald crabs to eat bubble alge. How does the crab eat em? It pops the bubble and eats it away. I believe Jake adams was saying the amount of spores in the bubble is Negligible and does not effect spreading. Check it out on you tube don’t take my word for it. I think you will be fine
