Recently found bubble algae on a frag zoa so I took it out of the tank hoping I wouldn’t see it anywhere else but of course I found two small bubbles on a rock. Do I:

Take the rock out, scrape it off outside the tank and replace the rock

Take rock out scrape and leave rock to dry

Take rock out scrape and leave in RO water?

I know I’m bound to find it elsewhere now that’s in the tank. Looking for some suggestions?

Thanks

When I find the odd bubble I just gently pluck it without rupturing it. I've only seen a few in my tank and it works for me.

Thanks everyone. I ended up taking the rock out of the tank and chiseling off the section that had the bubbles. When I did that I found more that popped up so I chiseled that off too. Took off about 20% of the rock rinsed and put back in the tank. Gonna wait to see how this goes...

Thanks buddy. Were you able to get rid of it or did you have to break the tank down?

I was a lot younger and there was not much info on it. But I did try fox face fish and green emeral crab . Did not do much. I got out of the hobby because of it but I did not manually remove it back then. I was like 16 at the time lol
