For those of you who have a bubble magus is the Curve 5 ok or should I go to the 7 (almost twice the price) for my 90 gallon with lots of fish? I'm not going to get a bigger tank in the future as I'm actually downsizing now due to space so not worried about down the road.

I also have the option of getting a used Skimz Monster SM161 for about half the price of the curve 5.

I like these 2 skimmers for their small footprint.

TIA!

I have a Curve 5 in a 40 gallon system with a 20g sump, and it seems just the right size. For a heavily stocked 90 I would go with the Curve 7 personally.

Yeah leaning towards the Skimz SM161 or Curve 7. Thanks for the advice!

Im rocking a Bubble magus D8 for my 80g rimless and 40 breeder sump but at least 110 or so gallons actual volume. If you can find one i would suggest it because ive never seen something pull so much out of the water so quickly. You can def find used ones for fairly cheap i think i saw one used at TSA, give them a call. i dont think they post used gear online. the footprint is larger than iw ould like though

I went from a curve 5 elite to a RSR rsk300 for my60g. Curve 7 minimum as they are small skimmers
