I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what these bubbles in the picture below are? Also, if they need to be dissipated, how to go about doing that? Thanks for any help.

It’s hard to tell from that picture, but I think I do have a lot of surface agitation already. I have 3 power heads and a hang on filter...Get some surface agitation going with a powerhead.
Most likely if you have no actual overflow. If the surface is oily looking near the bubbles then yes.Could it be protein bubbles?
I just checked. It does look a little oily. I also rubbed some off with a paper towel and it was yellowish. Most likely if you have no actual overflow. If the surface is oily looking near the bubbles then yes.
