When will they be at BRS? I want to order, filled out contact info. Not sure why there is no way to check out online.
We sent sample but BRS doing lots of test before thy order . For the Atlantik V4 took about 1.5 yeras then almost a year to stock . So probably you want see there the OR bar so soon .

What certifications does the light have? Do you have FCC & RoHS? Would like to know before I order two.

Awesome. Hopefully it gets fielded soon.

It'll be a few months! Personally, I believe with 120* optics they really don't need it. They are equivalent to two T5 bulbs of equal size. Maybe a hair stronger... BUT, I was curious as I know a lot of people will feel they need it, or want that pure UV bar for the ultimate ramp down experience haha.

But really, they don't need it. And one, or even two, shouldn't burn your corals when added to existing lighting. Especially with the 120* optics.

Radion AB+ is 18.5k the Orphek Reef Daylight is 18k -- So that would be it.

For the crazy colors with nothing but blues -- It would be the UV/Violet bar, and maybe the SkyBlue bar combined, or a custom bar that's got a 50/50 mix of those particular LED diodes.

Personally I like the look of the sky blue vs the uv/actinic. The uv/actinic is very purple by itself. It does cause the corals to fluoresce but I feel the sky blue makes the corals look better. Just my 2cents.

Which 50/50 mix?

Which 50/50 mix?

A custom bar made of the SkyBlu and UV/Violet combined. A 50/50 mix of those two bars. Which they can do, if you ask.

The crazy radion colors are literally JUST the UV/Violet/Royal Blue, all other channels turned off. The UV and Violet is where the eye burning outrageous pop lives. People swear it's from royal blue -- it's not. It's the UV/Violet range of the RB led diodes that bring the pop.

That's what i want to hear. What if I added a uv/violet in place of one of my RB blues on my ATI? Then I'd have the uv, violet and royal blue supplement. What do you think Tim?

I think royal blue is highly overrated, as are RB. Try the UV, if you like it, you can ditch the RB in the back fir a sky blue

But I definitely think adding some uv/violet is what most of us are missing

@Orphek Thanks for that but could you please answer my questions? What is the wattage of the 60, 90, and 120 respectively? I don't see that anywhere but I could have missed it. Also, when measuring for lens choice options, will I be measuring from the mounted light lens height to the bottom of the tank?

P-Dub, there's another thread on R2R with specs. 120cm are 108w, diodes are 3w each. Not sure on total of shorter lengths.
Thanks for that @TexasTodd. Now to just get them to let me know about the lense choices...

60 degree, 90 degree, 120 degree, 90 is what they recommend for sps.
Rakie, IMO the Reef Day will be more white than the SPS AB+ in Radions.

Last thing I’m looking for before I order is the actual wattage drawn by the 120 UV/Violet. To me, that’s how can one can make sure that the output is truly using the wattage of the LEDs, not having 3W LEDs at half power due to heat.

@Orphek can you post the actual wattage drawn of the 120 bars? Thanks.

And the actual wattage for the 60 and 90 as well as the lense choice measurement based on the measurements. Is that from the fixture glass to the tank bottom or just the water depth?
