I will start adding pic's of my new tank build

here's a pic of my old tank I took down,

I love the minamalistic look and will stock it with mostly SPS

tank is 48x24x20h
Vortech Mp60es
Skimz SM201 skimmer
1x 400w MH with lumatec ballast
4x 39w t5 KZ bulbs
BM dosing pump

here a few progress pics
ank and sump is all plumbed up and leak tested... no leaks which is a bonus!!

just waiting for the tank stand to be painted then can fill up and get the cycle going,

here's a couple of pics along the way taken on my phone sorry for the mess in the background

got the stand home from the builders to make sure it all fits together before heading off to the painters, here's a coupe of pics taken from my phone (sorry for the quality !)

got some new t5 bulbs (sorry for the quality my phone couldn't handle the blue in the first pic)
1x KZ new gen + 1x KZ super blue on only

1x KZ new gen + 1x KZ fiji purple on only

all four bulbs on

really liking the colors of these bulbs, hopefully they make the corals look nice
so the total bulbs i will run are
1x KZ Fiji purple
1x KZ super blue
2x KZ new gen
1x 400w MH

got my dosing pump installed, just have to plumb in the hoses

all filled with water and sand, Mp60 is cranking with some wicked flow!!

Off to a great start! Any chance of a list of planned livestock?

In terms of fish i already have a yellow tang, six line wrasse and a pair of clowns in a mates tank that he's been holding for me.
I also have some acro's in a holding tank waiting to go in aswell

Later on i will add a small group of smaller fish and possibly a blenny thats about it until i spot something really nice

Love the setup, it's very similar to mine. How do you like your MP60? Mine has been awesome so far, runs the flow for my entire tank.

Do you plan on adding more rock and corals or letting a few big colonies dominate your system?

Gotta love the super-clean look!
