c02 scrubber media- where do you buy in bulk?

Hello reefers, hope all is well. Where do you buy your bulk co2 scrubber media, its ridiculous to buy 7.5 lbs from some of the onlne reef product suppliers...got to be a better source to buy in bulk? thanks , D.

You can buy in bulk from a dive shop like below but after shipping your not really saving anything vs 7.5lb bags from BRS

Carbon dioxide absorbent granules. Upon exposure to carbon dioxide CO2, the calcium hydroxide converts to calcium carbonate Ca(CO3). This prevents CO2 buildup in a re-breathing circuit. The sodium hydroxide acts as a catalyst in the process.

For those who have purchased in bulk (i.e., JorVet 5 gallon), how well does the container seal once opened? Does it need to be portioned and vacuum sealed to retain freshness?
