Need to buy some water movers. I have a 48 x 24 cadlights 100 gallon. It has the center trapezoid overflow. Currently planning to have softies, but would like option to move some of my sps from another tank. Have not built any aqua scape but plan to do a nsa style bonsai tree on one side and a pedestal with over hangs on the other. Any suggestions? Looking to stay under 1k closer to $500. Of course cheaper would be better.

Anyone like the icecap gyres for this style tank? X2 on the back, one on each side?

That seems like like a bit overkill. Either 2 on the back 2 on the side.
You open to buying used? I have been thinking about selling my xf250s?

That didn't come out right. 2 gyres. One on each side of the center overflow. Thinking horizontally on the back wall facing forward or down? Could also potentially mount vertically facing them to the center. I think the trapezoidal overflow box might result in some super turbulence. Would consider buying used, as long as they are fairly new. What do you want for them?Reading that the first generation of these were difficult to maintenance. Any issues?
