Not sure if ive missed this in the 'manuals' but im thinking of getting an algae reactor, rather than buy a timing device, can you set a socket on the powerbar to only come on at a certain time and switch off again at a certain time? basically to control the lighting time on the reactor.

Yup. It's under "processes". Hit your menu, go to Processes and set up a timer. I do this for my refugium light. Then once timer is set up, go to Switch Channels and edit the socket that you want controlled. Under Function, select Timer and make sure you select the number of the timer that you created. Hope this helps.
