Can anyone help identify these two corals? The two orange are the same coral, just different frags.

I have two corals that I am clueless as to what they are. Anyone know? Also, what's the best location and lighting for the orange ones. The green one is off to the LFS. That was dead when the guy gave it to me. I keep giving away huge chunks of it and it refuses to stop growing like a weed.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Green one looks like a Green Sinulara leather coral.
Orange one I'm not sure. Kinda looks like an acan that's melting/receeding. It almost looks too smooth for an acan but the pics are too blurry to tell for sure.
Do you have any pics of it under white light or more in focus? Also, how big is it?

It is flat, it isn't an Acan. It's stoney on the back and it's about twice the size it was when i bought it but still only about the size of a silver dollar. It was on the sand which is why part of it is damaged. I was out of town and something dragged sand onto it. I moved it to a different tank and put it on the rock, seems happy there.

The orange coral is a Diaseris Plate Coral. The green is a Nephthea Coral.
Thank you. I thought plate corals had tentacles that come out. I have a few plates and they all have them.

That orange piece gets really puffy, nothing portrudes from it.

Not all Diaseris have tentacles that extend out that far. We have three varieties here on the farm that do not.

That's interesting. I'll let it heal and I take a better look at it. Thank you!

Now I just need to find a home for that leather. It's in a 32 nano and taking up the top half of the tank. It's been fragged at least a dozen times.

To the OP definitely check this guys YouTube videos for any questions you might have.
