If it does color back up(again I've never seen a black widow bleached), then I would hope the OP would be an upstanding citizen and resend payment.

It was who I thought the OP bought it from. Many many happy customers. While I've never bought from you, I have read your selling thread.

I am the one that sold Hector this widow. It looks very angry through shipping.

I've never owned any other nem aside from the black widow. I have a long thread of very happy customers.

None the less I refunded Hector no questions asked. Itll turn black here in a bit and I hope Hector will resend a payment of some sorts.
People like you are awesome. I usually give away my nem splits for free and even then I worry about their health. They’re finicky animals and take time to acclimate. Sometimes around 2 weeks. I even move mine from one tank to the other and they take awhile to acclimate.

Brett has been more than cooperative. What I thought was going to be an unpleasant experience has turned out way different than I would of expected. The anemone is in the tank as we speak. Time will tell. Updates to come soon.

In my experience an open mouth for long periods of time is a bad sign. Ive had a nem die on me before and it started out like this. Hopefully this one can bounce back. Kudos to the owner for refunding and hopefully it bounces back

IME most of my nem's mouths are always slightly open, not pinched shut, and they are very healthy with some of them being over 10 inches in diameter. It looks like that nem is a little bleached and stressed, most likely from shipping, but you can kinda see some striations around the mouth and on the oral disk. I would wait to see this when it is fully colored up, but it seems like it could be a BW

Definitely doesn’t look the healthiest right now, but time will tell. At this stage they can easily let go of attached rock and end up in a power head or into overflow. As you probably know, definitely don’t want to attempt feeding it until things improve. Hope this guy makes it.
