I was doing some tank maintenance and oopsied. The mantle looks like a little piece was taken out of it.

Clam seems to be fine, and the jagged spot is smoothing over.

Can it fully repair the damaged spot or nah?

I wish I could tell you, but time will tell. I have done the same thing, drop something on my clam and my heart sinks. Luckily no damage. Hope yours is good. Can you share a photo?

yes if the mantle is damaged they can repair it. They cant replace lost foot or byssus organ, that usually ends up in the death of the clam
