Can copepods survive in 2nd chamber of Biocube if the only way into the tank is through the pump?

I want to put copepods in the small intank refugium area which resides in the 2nd chamber of my Biocube. The only concern I have is that the only true outlet for the copepods into the tank is through the pump. Can copepods survive a trip through the pump?

Yes they will be fine there

Yes they can also crawl against the current and find ways out through your inlets.
