Can I Add Dry Caribsea Life Rock to Tank?

I have found different answers so asking here:
Can I put a piece (~2lbs) of new/dry Caribsea Life rock into my established tank without harm?

or should I put it into a bucket with a powerhead/heater etc.. for a week (or longer?).

Tank is 32.5gal but with everything in it is probably closer to 28-29.

Should be just fine. Ive put 5lbs of real reef saver dry rock in a well established 40 gallon without issues.
If concerned you could always add some live bacteria but it likely wont make a difference.

I have always just put it in and have never had a problem with it. Same with real reef rock.
