It has the potential to keep nutrients lower, but you're going to be gobbling up salt considerably faster, since you're effectively changing 100% of the tank's volume every 30 days...and unless you're on a well, you're paying for water too. Dosing could be less expensive in the long run...and much less labor intensive.
Thanks guys, I’m asking because i’m too lazy for testing except salinity and temperature. With water change only, i don’t have to care much about the parameters or changing the dosage for the tank base on testing. May be testing but once per month ?
To have any kind of long term success with sps you will need to test.. if it was a LPS/Softy only tank, water changes and Kalkwasser can be sufficient without testing.
