Can I turn a potentially dying torch coral around?

Well, I screwed up.
Every weekend I clean my tanks. Over the last week, though, I've been a bit busier and skipped cleaning the tank.
Over the week, I kept saying to myself "clean your tank", but that never happened.
Well, my procrastination is catching up to me. Today, my torch coral frag is getting white at the base and is shriveling up, turning grey...you know, all the signs of an unhappy euphilia. My ammonia is near zero, but clearly something is bugging it. I'm out of phosphate, alk, calc, and mag tests but plan to get some this weekend. If I clean my tank today like I normally would, is it possible the coral can "heal" and things can turn around? This isn't the first time that something like this has happened, just the most concerning. What do you guys think?

A turbo snail died which is likely the ammonia source. It's also only a few months old, but has no fish currently. I'll get a pic in as soon as I can.

I just finished cleaning my aquarium. Throughout the entire cleaning the torch just looked AWFUL. However, I am confident that a major cleaning can turn things around, but I don't want to disappoint myself either.

Torch doesn’t look bad, just irritated. If you are confident that lack of maintenance is ticking it off, then you should do fine with a good cleaning.

My duncans seem to shrivel a bit when I need a water change. Funny too because my acros look the same haha.

update: no change really, but a bit more exposed skeleton. ain’t freaking out yet, but sure don’t want to wake up to find a glob of jelly where my torch used to be.

What does every week clean my tank mean.
Weekly water change, filter floss or sponge or socks, but what exactly is clean my tank.
You need to have those tests.
If you think your chemistry is out of wack, 2 25% water changes a day apart, then test.

Update: the torch is much more extended, though some skeleton is still exposed. I weny through some old pics of the torch and this isn’t the first time this has happened, so time will tell if I’m just being paranoid again. While cleaning my tank I did notice two mouths, so is this what it looks like when they split??
Here’s some pics. As you can see the tentacles are a bit wrinkly and some are deflated. I reduced flow, but maybe I should switch that back.

Here is an old pic of it the week I got it, so it has had worse and has come fully back to life:

Tomorrow I am going to the lfs as I am rescaping my tank to accommodate corals much better. While there I’ll pick up coral food, test kits, and, if needed, calc supplements, though calc doesn’t seem like an issue.
