I recently got a copper-band butterfly and have been struggling to get it to eat. I’m staying at a beach shack for the weekend, and was hoping to collect some clams and mussels from the local beaches to feed my fish. The health department just put out a warning that shellfish collected in the area are affected by “Toxic algal blooms” and shouldn’t be eaten. I was wondering if these are still fine for the fish in my aquariums to eat of if I should steer clear of them?
