I have no way to measure PAR (too expensive), and I'm curious to know what kind of PAR is there in the tank with all lights off around mid day. Maybe at 12 and 18 inches deep. Just the PAR of natural light. There must be some PAR.

Obviously a tank by the window is going to have more, but something in the middle of the road. My tank is in the Western room about 5 feet from the window with no blinds, or curtains.

Thanks in advance.

Is there a problem with natural (indirect) daylight hitting the corals In the morning?

My schedule is 8-10 which is quite long hours. I would make it 11-10 but the room will have natural daylight in the morning for those extra hours

if it’s just going to stress the corals out more I’d rather leave it be
