@rhostam Your tank is beautiful, and I absolutely love your gorgonians. Super sweet to see the daylight/natural sun moments too. I actually liked having natural sun in my reefs, did great things for my macroalgae, and I love having tang gangs so that’s always a bonus.
Thanks, I agree natural light is quite beautiful!

Here is my 6ft long tank… believe it or not I don’t have a lot of rock. Originally, I had quite a bit, but I kept removing it as time went on. I Figured my tank is a good example of not having a lot of rock, but having full grown colonies that take up all the space. I’m even at the point we’re I’m putting new frags on top of the existing colonies. I’m actually planning on getting another tank but with the overflows on the back to open up some room, but I definitely won’t add more rock!

I love your massive plating/scrolling centerpiece coral there. I had mixed LPS, soft & SPS before, and I think you’re on the ticket in that you really do need much more room for a mixed reef to make all those warring organisms be able to peaceably expand. You have a beautiful system there! Is that giant centerpiece coral a chalice of some sort? How old is that big beastie?

Thanks! The centerpiece is a Hollywood stunner chalice, and it’s probably about 5 years old but it a been fragged quite a bit. I used to trade chunks and frags of it for credit on new coral so it would probably fill the tank if not for that, lol!
